I THINK JAN BRETTS PURPOSE WAS TO ENTERTAIN BECAUSE IT MADE ME LAUGH WHEN THE ANIMALS GOT INTO THE MITTEN AND WHEN HIS GRANNY THOUHT WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS MITTEN THE OTHER ONE IS FINE
I think Jan Bretts purpose was to entertian because all the animals were getting in a mitten. They all said theres no room! But they saw something on them and said come on in. Then the bear came and the mouse came and it went BOOM that made me laugh. Allison
I tink the Authors purpose was to entertain beacuase it made me laugh when the bear sneezed and the mitten flew of and Niki saw the mitten and he catched it.
I think the Autors purpose was to entertain becuase it made me laugh when the hedgehog went into the mitten and it got suck in there until the other animals came.
