This is our final post for our unit on Reader's Theater. Ja'lyn, Jerry, Tyler and Kristina have worked very hard on a puppet show titled The Gingerbread Kids. I am very proud of all of our second graders who are learning a lot about reading fluency and using great inflection while they read. Happy Holidays everyone!

ReplyDeleteI agree that the fox is probably going to enjoy a gingerbread snack. Allison, I like the way you are thinking about author's purpose. I agree that it was to entertain. However, while I wish I was the author, somebody else wrote this play. I look forward to working with the rest of you after the holiday break.
I predict that the fox will eat the gingerbread kids because after the gingerbread kids said thank-you to the fox said oh no thank-you.
